WONDERFUL DESTINATION MU CANG CHAI

Mu Cang Chai in Vietnam
Mu Cang Chai  is the mountainous district of Yen Bai province in the Northwest of Vietnam, about 350 km from Hanoi,it is well known by splendid rice fields in terraces. In each season of harvest, this isolated region in north of Vietnam welcomes thousands of visitors from all over the country.

Semantically, in local language "Mu or Mo" means "Forest of Wood", "Cang" means "dry" and "Chai" means "Earth", the space, the regions... Mu Cang Chai is the "Region of Forest of Dry Wood ". As a district of the Yen Bai province, Mu Cang Chai is inhabited mainly by ethnic groups such as Hmong (90%), Thai, Dao, Kinh … Every people has its own unique cultural identity.
Mu Cang Chai – Which season:

From mid-September to mid-October, this is the season when rice is ripe. Mu Cang Chai is covered by the yellow color. at that time, the weather is nice and favorable to visit this area. In May and June, this is the time of watering when the first summer rains start pouring down the mountain. The water flows from the mountains until to the terraces. The water floods the fields. So the soil is softer. This is the time when farmers begin to transplant rice for a new season. Therefore, the rice terraces in Vietnam or in Mu Cang Chai have only one harvest a year. The limpid and flashed water in the sun of the afternoon creates a beauty that can surprise all visitors.

ADVICE FOR HA LONG BAY TRIP

Halong Bay Cruise Tips
Although you can visit Ha Long Bay all year round, you'd better plan your cruise carefully. Bad weather affects the visibility and can even spoil your trip. The best time to visit Ha Long Bay is from March to June; however, avoid crowded public holidays (30 April and 1 May). June to September is low season so you can get better deals but pay attention to storm forecasts. October and November is high season again and it is still sunny. December is cool, cloudy but dry while January and February are cold, foggy and drizzly. The showers will hide the splendor of the bay.

A day cruise will show you a glimpse of Ha Long Bay, yet if you want to get the most out of your trip, allow at least two days. You will be able to see the most stunning moments on Ha Long Bay or it's greatest wonder: the sunset, sunrise, and a starry or moonlit night. If this is out of your budget, take a scenic one hour ferry and explore the bay by Kayak from Cat Ba.

BA BE LAKE - VIETNAM

Ba Be National Park. Vietnam
Ba Be National Park is the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam with exceptional fish diversity, a population of langurs, over 200 bird and 350 butterfly species, geological treasures and mature primary limestone forest. In places like this, careless tourism can bring human disturbances and endanger this heritage, while thoughtful Ba Be with a controlled impact provide excellent support to conservation projects in the area and help the economies of local people. We share your desire for the latter option and promise that nature knows how to return your kindness. Surrounded by the lush green of the forest we hope you enjoy and learn from the time spent with all of our friends there and raise a glass of corn wine with your hosts, toasting to the health of our shared environment
